The title says it-MAGNIFY-both in discovering the secrets and truths of the Bible and in magnifying and honoring God. Following the incredible success of Revolve for teen girls and Refuel for teen guys, this new Biblezine provides a completely unique format for kids to have a blast while learning about God's Word. The complete New Testament of the International Children's Bible(R) will suddenly come to life, applying to kids' lives through this magazine format's interesting articles, thought-provoking quizzes, and interactive games. Even a secret decoder is included to help kids uncover amazing secrets only found in the Bible
For the kid who doesn't like books without pictures!

I got this bible for my 8 year old son. He is not much of a reader, but was truly wanting to get into God's word. What happened was that he began losing interest because it became somewhat boring for him. This bible has helped to spark the desire for His word and also gives interesting facts and tid-bits that cater to his curious, but not always attentive, mind. Highly recommended for the younger child that doesn't have the natural desire for reading much of anything.
Magnify - the new testament biblezine

As a children's pastor, I highly recommend the Magnify - New Testament. It's interactive layout is perfect for this next generation. Before we can expect a child to hold the truths found in the scriptures, they first must understand and interact with the scriptures in a way that creates ownership. Magnify is a great tool to accomplish this.
Magnify is a great 'zine!

I tried this publication on my class this past Sunday. They absolutely loved it! The kids have the attention span of a gnat in second grade and the colorful presentation appealed to them. They especially liked the decoder.
Surefire Way to Encourage Kids to Read the Bible

Too bad you can't search inside this book. It is full color with lots of graphics, sidebars, and pull-out quotes, just like a magazine. The International Children's Bible is translated especially for children and is written at an approximate grade three reading level. While easy to read, it is not "childish" and will appeal to ages 7-11. Some features throughout are: Bible Basics; Livin'it; Real Super Heroes, Get Connected (how to get live a happy life with people around you); Gotta Know (questions kids ask with answers from the Bible) and Games and Quizzes. Two secret decoders are bound-in to unscramble messages. Each book is introduced graphically with information about the author, purpose, theme, and content placed in bubbles using the fewest of words. I recommend this book along with "Magnify Old Testament Stories" and "Magnify Psalms and Proverbs" as references for the entire family rather that as a Bible for children. Each child should have a full Bible for personal use at home and church. The "Hands On Bible" from Tyndale would be great for the color and graphics. The International Children's Bible from Tommy Nelson is the same translation as Magnify, but no color or graphics except for a few maps at the back.
Great!

Love the format, all of the extras, puzzles, games, etc. and especially the easy to understand version. Has my 9 year old reading the Bible more than ever before & even finding things to share with his sister.
