Although I bought this book from a thrift store in early 2019 it has been instrumental in my losing weight. I have also started exercising with riding a bicycle being the primary exercise. This book explains calorie counting, losing weight and exercising very simply. A few chapters were NOT relevant in my case. For a few dollars this book was lifestyle changing.
I highly recommend this book!

It's ok but nothing new

I think this is a very good book for people who have never learned anything at all about calories. It is definitely a good starting point but doesn't share any information that we don't hear every single day about weight loss.
VERY low-calorie dieting

The book has excellent information, but I am leary about her plan of 1,000 calories. That is very low. I don't feel anyone should eat any less than 1,200 calories a day. I can see maybe dipping down to 1,000 calories once in a while, but the author wants the reader to do it every day. This could be dangerous.
