A #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Somehow her own fictional brooding hero had turned up in person right under her own roof, and now all romance writer Jackie MacNamara had to do was convince stubborn Nathan Powell that happily-ever-after began at home -- and in her arms.
I found this book in our library in hard back and large print. It's one of Nora Roberts older ones but is absolutely delightful. If youre feeling down or sad, read this book. I laughed so hard through most of it. It was just delightful reading. Nathan is almost stuffy and set in his ways and how Jackie breaks through all those walls so he knows he can't live without her, makes such a fun read. I think NR might update the book a bit and reissue it. Jackie uses a typewriter instead of a computer and the hero smokes way too much as now in 2007, we know is a killer. Sometimes you need a book that is just relaxing and fun and this is it!!!!
Nora knows how to write a love story!

Though I read this book as part of a 2-book installment...i found it very good in plot. Jackie "Jack" meets dashing Nathan...a man of few words but many emotions and they go through a turbulent relationship. I really liked the ending, though it was pretty predictable!
I loved "Loving Jack!"

Absolutely adorable book with a feisty heroine that just won't quit! The next review down gives an excerpt from the back of the book; I just wanted to add that Cody Johnson, who is Nathan's business partner in this book, gets a book of his own in "Best Laid Plans". Jack and Nathan come to visit Cody in that book, so if you enjoyed this one, read that too. Also, the book that Jack is writing here is Nora Roberts own book, "Lawless", so you may want to check that one out as well.

What was a man to do when he came home and found a strange woman in his hot tub wearing nothing but exotic jewelry? If he was conservative architect Nathon Powell, he suggested she get dressed and tried not to notice that Jackie M. MacNamara was the most alluring female he'd ever seen. To "Jack" life was one mad glorious adventure. And when the dashing hero of her romantic fiction suddenly materialized before her very eyes, she knew she'd found her greatest thrill. Falling for the adorable Nathen was the easy part. The challenge would be to make sure that, come tomorrow, he was loving Jack right back!

i really do enjoy her current stuff (rivers end, the reef) but it is always great to pick up one of the older books by nora roberts that read in a day. sometimes i just dont feel like thinking that much when trying to relax with a book, (bag of bones by stephen king is/was getting on my nerves) so taking a break and tearing thur one of noras has brought me back to relaxation ::smile
