I loved this book so much that I read it twice!

When Catrienne first meets Nicholas she is in awe of his boldness. Her friend Jasper is a great character and I can relate him to my brother, Robert. Nicholas is exactly the type of person that I would like to fall in love with. He is strong, cunning, swift, and romantic. Catrienne is exactly like me. She is stubborn and very determined to get what she wants. I really love historical romances and am looking for more books of Mrs. Maynard's. She is a brilliant author. I read this book every chance that I got and I also read until four o'clock one morning. I finally finished it.
