Playful beach crabs

This book was short listed for the Australian picture book of the year, and it is easy to see why. The illustrations are beautiful, and add to the humour of the book. A family go searching for crabs on the beach only to go away convinced that none luve on the beach, meanwhile the reader sees plenty of crabs, hiding, playing and having fun out of sight of the family. An excellent book, highly recommend

A great childrens' book - really encourages discussion about the pictures vs the text.( the crabs are having their own parties and hiding from the people!) Beautiful art work and simple meaning for 4-8's. I'll be buying this for sure (when i find it! )
