As someone who loves both London and minimalist architecture, I have to say this book doesn't *quite* redeem its promise. I think the fault may lie in the series' concept rather than the book per se. While it does sound many of the right notes - Pawsonian asperity first and foremost - by restricting the ambit to London, the authors miss out on many of the most interesting trendlets in this most adaptable style.
