Both Biblical and Practical

This book provides great practical tools for living the Christian life, but unlike many such books it is based solidly on Biblical truth. And not just picking and choosing verses, but taking all of Paul's words in the 12th chapter of Romans. The TRUSTME questions and actions at the end of each section provide tools for immediate application, either personally or within a group.

This book is an excellent read if you want to take your faith to the next level. It will bring up questions that upon answering you will begin to see things in a new light. I enjoyed it immensely, and highly recommend it.

Absolutely foundational for how we should live a Christians

If you want to understand how to really live a Christian life, explained with clarity and honesty, this book is for you. It will hit you right between the eyes, but is delivered with a tender heart, directing you to where God's biggest and best blessings are found. Based on Romans chapter 12, it lays the foundation for how to be surrendered to God, to live separate from the world's value system, to have a sober self assessment, to serve others in love and supernaturally respond to evil with good. I am recommending this to everyone I know, in the hope it will impact their lives as much as it is my own.

This book is over the top in leading the reader to a closer relationship with Jesus. He briefly relates the message to how it all relates to his personal life, but ultimately he brings it down to my own Christian walk. What he has to say has been said 100's of times before but never in such a relational way to the reader. If you truly question your spiritual life and want more of Christ and less of anything other than Him, I strongly suggest this book to you.

Whether you are a "babe" in Christ, a veteran soldier of the cross, teacher, student, pastor or layperson, you will be enormously edified by this work, which is suitable for group study, or personal study. I am currently using this book in a small group and it has blessed me enormously. After reading this book, I can see why. Romans will compel the serious Christian to "earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints."
