A favorite we can keep coming back to

Aside from the beautiful pictures and wonderful rhythm of the story, this book offers some "extras" that we can keep coming back to. For example, the little caterpillar hiding on each page and that little green is hiding on some of the pages. It's also a little bit of a surprise each time that we get to the end of the book.

Delightful read for young children

This book holds the attention of even young readers. My daughter fell in love with it when she was 14 or 15 months old, and she still loves it now at 3. The illustrations are great. It's always a favorite with both of my kids.

Engaging and colorful

My pre-schooler loves this book for the bright colors. She also likes being able to trace the hummingbird's path and trying to find the caterpillar on each page. It's a great shared reading experience because it is interactive.

A delightful book!

A beautiful little book to add to any collection. I bought this for my four-month old and he loves to look at the colorful pages. The words introduce rhythm, rhyme, and alliteration magically. An older toddler would also enjoy trying to find the caterpillar hidden among all the pages!

I love it!

The text in the book is very sweet. However, the best part about this book are the pictures. They are very vibrant and extremely beautiful. I read it to my class and they really enjoyed it.
