The clouds drift across the bright blue sky--all except one. Little Cloud trails behind. He is busy changing shapes to become a fluffy sheep, a zooming airplane, and even a clown with a funny hat.... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I love that the book is so simple and gives kids another way to enjoy the outdoors by looking for characters in the clouds.

This book is adorable for preschoolers as well as the young grades. It is simmple to read and is beautifully illustrated as are all of Eric Carle's Books.

Little Cloud is one of Carle's more recent books. Carle started illustrating and writing books in the late 1960s. Of the Carle books I've read there are only two that I don't enjoy: The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Very Greedy Snake as both are focused so heavily on gluttony.Little Cloud instead teaches through example the importance of being an individual and being a contributing member of a group. Until the end, each page has a different shape that Little Cloud has created on his own. There's an airplane, a hat, and a variety of other shapes that children will easily recognize. In the end, his hat joins up with the other clouds who have together formed a clown.
Wonderful for the imagination!

Right after reading this book just once, my daughter was outside telling me all the different things the clouds looked like! This book really stimulates the imagination. The simple pictures and verse make it a great bed-time book for the little ones. It has quickly become one of my daughter's "must-have" going to bed books.
ADORABLE book!

This is a cute and fun book. I don't usually choose Eric Carle books, but this is one of the best books I've read to my almost-2 year old this year. Even my 5 year old likes it. Fun, imaginative, and we really like the little face on Little Cloud in the beginning of the story. This small/medium board book size is a plus, too, easy for little hands.

A great book for the imagination. It inspired us to go outside and see what shapes our "Little Clouds" were becoming.
