This book was great if you can stomach the racism and the part about her mom selling. Over all it a good book

Gangsters

Little Black Girl Lost 2 is a sequel about Johnnie Wise, a beautiful and seductive teenage prostitute, who is an accessory to murder. She is love torn between Napoleon Bentley, a dangerous, devious and powerful older white mafia figure and Lucas Matthews, a black former-classmate that Johnnie truly loves. Johnnie also has an obsession with wanting to identify with the Beauregard family--her rich and powerful white relatives. So much so that she becomes a part-time maid in their home to find out for herself what they are really like. All isn't what it appears to be. Johnnie wants what Napoleon can give her--money, more power and explosive sex, but her heart belongs to Lucas--her love slave. Johnnie and Lucas are tied together by personal internal struggles. Lucas is devastated when he finds out about her affair with Napoleon, his boss. Johnnie is aware of his affair with Marla, Napoleon's wife. But when Napoleon decides to take over the "colored" section of New Orleans for the mafia, murder and mayhem abound. Be aware, Keith Lee Johnson has set the stage for the third book in this sequel!

Must Read

If you are an avid book reader then these two books are for you. (Little Black Girl Lost 1 & 2) I really loved them. And I can't wait to read what the characters are up to now. I haven't read the other books from Keith Lee Johnson yet, but the are on my list. You must buy both books at the same time. As soon as you finish with the first one you are going to want have the other one right by you.

Intriguing

Johnnie Wise is intriguing she makes you want to know more and more about her. Keith Lee drops another very well written novel that leaves your mouth watering for more. I have to agree with other avid readers when I say please,please,please can we get a part three. Keith's novels are action packed you are not able to put them down because you want to know what is going to happen next. Then before you know it you are at the end trying to slow down because you don't want the book to end. Johnnie Wise has had it rough it seems all her life, makes you wonder when it is going to stop raining for her. In this read she goes to a "fortune teller" who helps her with a female problem as well as reads her future. We never find out what exactly is said but you wonder if Johnnie's life is ever going to get any better. Everything and everyone that knows Johnnie finds bad fortune all in the name of Napoleon Bentley. I hope to be reading about Johnnie again in the near future.

Let me start off by saying to Mr. Johnson, although it took me forever and a day to read LBGL 1, I finally read it and I truly enjoyed reading about Johnnie Wise and her having to grow up rather quickly. I rushed to finish it so that I could read LBGL 2. Between the 2 books, it made me angry, alittle teary eyed and somewhat anxious. As I got to the ending of LBGL 2 I tried to slow my reading down because I didn't want the story to end. Now what I need to know is....Is there a part 3 in the making and if not , please, please,please consider it for us readers who simply adore your creativity......... I'm ready to discuss the book now....lol

WONDERFUL!!

This was way better than 1. Johnnie was nothing like her mother. She was a smart girl who used her goods to live the lavish lifestyle as a white person. Lucas was driven by Marla's sex so bad, that he didn't think he was doing anything wrong. Well, Bubbles, Napoleon and some one I can't name set Lucas up so in the end Johnnie would go back to Napoleon, but it all back fired. You wont believe who was in on Lucas going to jail and for what reason. While Johnnie is working for the Beauguards, she starts some trouble and spill out everybody's dirty secret, even hers, she's family! that's right Johnnie is half white. Read this book!!!
