A pocket-sized, straightforward reference to all aspects of neurology, this book's format is similar to that of a medical dictionary, featuring extensive cross-referencing. Neurologic topics are arranged alphabetically and typically include definitions, classifications, diagnoses, and treatments.
This book is comprehensive, concise and extremely useful. Not only does it have a detailed 29 page index (unlike the first reviewer mistatement), the topics are arranged alphabetical and clearly noted on with the alphabet marked on each page. For instance Hydrocephalus is under H and Vertigo is V and Zoster is under Z. Pictures make it a plus. Cons: A little thicker than I would like but the bigger font size and ease of reading makes up for it.
It is amazing and great book

I'm a neurologist, and since the other review of this book was so bad (one star), I feel compelled to comment that this is a pretty widely used book and a useful quick reference. I don't know many neuro residents that don't own it. For practical day to day ward care, I preferred the Mass General pocket guide, but I do think this book also has a place.
