A Must Read for any Small Group or Missional Community!

Our world has become increasingly isolated and self-centered. As Christians, we tend to forget that when we gained Christ as Lord and Savior, we also inherited a big, crazy, dysfunctional family called the Church. Dustin Willis focuses in on the fact that discipleship and evangelism come alive in the context of community. We're simply not called to go it alone! If you're a Christ Follower, stuck in the mode of "traditional church," but keep sensing that there's more, then this book is for you. You'll be convicted and challenged to invest your time, treasure, and talents in simple, yet intentional ways, to see lives changed and God glorified. As a side note, we had Dustin recently speak at our Sunday Service. He's the real deal! Everything he writes about in Life in Community is something that he lives out - it's part of his DNA. It's refreshing to find someone who not only talks the talk but walks it as well.
