It had us in stitches!

A professor for my children's literacy course told me that if kids' books aren't engaging to their adults, as well, they should be thrown out. This story is hilarious! I love that, besides its intensely clever vocabulary, it has historic merit and ignites curiosity and conversation. I read it to a group of senior citizens today and it passed the test with flying colors! DANG! The illustrations had us in stitches and we were quoting from it all afternoon! If We had that much fun, I can't imagine what it would do in the hands and mind of a kid!
