Good book

Just recently divorced, I found this book very helpful to work through some emotional issues.

Very Inspirational

A good book for a female going through or after a divorce. It is very comforting.

God is honored in our life when we allow Him to be first.

Cindi's insight in allowing God to meet our deepest needs is right on target! So often, we look to people, things or circumstances to fill us. Clearly, God designed us to place Him first in our lives. He stands eager to meet every need in our lives. Thank you for the positive reminder and for the encouragement you share within the pages of your book!

Moving toward a Satisfied Heart

When my husband comes home from work, I want him to hear all my neat stories. He said, she said, I felt, he felt, she felt. Even the stupid things I did that I need to talk to someone about. Yo-duh, he is not speeding home from work to hear all of this.Cindi's book really opened my eyes (and heart!) to this being one of many ways where what I wanted was an unrealistic burden to place on a person. Better yet, it asked the question (not in these words, of course) "Could you take all of this to God in your prayer time?" Oh. Cindi has easily explained the things that our heart hungers for and why we want those things. (Not a hairy psychological explanation, but a simple one about how God designs us and why) It also encourages us to consider the things we desire rom people, things that aren't "evil" (perfect loyalty, continuous concern, always available for conversation, etc.) but will keep our heart hungry if we only look to people.Excellent book for small groups and personal study. Scripturally, the book is very sound. Thank you, Cindi.
