The PERFECT book for the casual traveler!

I have been to Paris over 20 times, have lived there for a year and so I am always asked what is a good book for traveling. This is it! This book covers it all but doesn't complicate the language. It is the perfect book for anyone who doesn't speak the language and wants to take a trip. I have bought many copies of this book for gifts but one of them went to my 79 year old grandfather who went to Paris 5 times just in 2009 but can't speak a lick of the language. This book saves him every time! It doesn't try to really teach you the language it is more just the most common phrases and gives you the most common version of them so you don't sound like you are reading a text book. It has its own phonetic spelling of the word to help with pronunciation which is the most difficult thing to conquer when trying to speak French. This book is great! Highly recommended.
