Atlantic City's Boardwalk has a long and checkered past associated with organized crime, corrupt politicians, and illegal gambling. However, that stereotype is no longer true. Atlantic City has blossomed into a family friendly destination on the New Jersey shoreline . The Boardwalk is the world's longest running six miles in length. Most of the Boardwalk is lined with gift shops, attractions, eateries, candy stores, ice cream shops, luxury hotels and casino's for adults. With miles of beautiful white sandy beaches and piers extending out into the Atlantic, that are home to impressive shopping malls, amusement parks and more. There is so much to see and do in Atlantic City that a weekend may not be long enough to experience all this beautiful little resort town has to offer.
