The dramatic and tragic story of St. Louis' notorious Lemp brewery and family. The intriguing Lemp saga has everything: suicides, court battles, and, yep, even Lemp ghosts! This is truly a great read. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The Lemp family of St. Louis would have made Paris Hilton look boring. Deception, suicide, sex and a woman who had her own way of making a statement all come together to make this stranger-than-fiction family come to life. The information on the Lavender Lady is worth the price of the book! Excellant!
Pleasant surprise

I was pleasantly surprised with this book. Although it did not spend as much time on the hauntings involving the Lemp Mansion, which is why I bought the book, it more than made up for it with the history of the family. The book also provided a great history and background of the brewery business. It has great pictures and I found it difficult to put it down. I would highly reccomend this book.
