The Leed AP Exam Guide by Gang Chen is great! I am in the process of building a retreat center that features LEED Design buildings and I needed to understand the process and the guidelines and not just rely on my contractors, etc. to get it right. This guide is easy to understand and to find information in. It is clearly giving information that is up-to-date and in line with LEED certification, which many "green" books aren't always. This is a reference manual I will keep on my shelf and use for many years to come. Already it has helped me clarity several issues in our planning stages which has saved us what would have been costly errors. If you are interested in LEED issues for any reason, get this book!

I rate the book with 5 stars because i am very satisfied with it! It is clearly compiled and easily to be apprehended As a portable book supplementary to LEED NC 2.2 reference book, it definitely assists me to pass the exam! Gang excepts and underlines the significant content from NC2.2 and shares his own understanding and tips to memorize them. The book facilitates me to prepare the test as a extract. With overwhelming information in NC2.2, I am very happy to have Gang's book available to help me comb through and stay focused. The handy size of the book works with me very well. The preface really helps me to understand what the test is about, formality, scoring system, etc.which set a good start for my study. Additionally, the practice exam is quite useful! I would surely recommend the book to my friends who are preparing the test and would like to have a portable guideline at hand whenever they have minutes to study!

I agree with everyone. This book is an excellent source. I used this in conjunction with a course from Clean Edison and never looked back. Passed the test on the first try and am very proud of myself. I can't don't think I could have used just this book alone to pass. This book WITH the course is what helped me pass. Great information though.
More Than Just A Great LEED Exam Guide

I recently completed building a LEED Silver home. During the process, I asked my professional team for books in addition to the LEED For Homes Reference Manual, which was sometimes confusing to me. I was given this Guide, and found it to be well organized and also very user friendly as a reference guide. The numerous tips on how to accumulate more points on the exam coincide and mirror the actual experience of how to score more points for LEED certification...very interesting.
