Pretty decent little book

I found this book on the Barnes and Noble bargain shelf and Im glad to say that an impulse buy turned out to be a good thing for once. This book explains different prayer traditions to the reader in a clear and easy to understand way, offering different methods and ways to pray so the reader can form his or her own way of praying to the Divine.

Thoroughly non-sectarian

This is a great book. It's simple but thorough, and offers a good, gentle approach to prayer for those who might be intimidated by it or who don't come from an active prayer tradition.

Good book

It is a well known fact that prayer is therapeutic - however many of us don't pray on a regular basis because we are either not disciplined, don't completely believe in it or are ashamed. In my case it was a combination of all three. The author shows simple techniques of praying and also suggests simple excercises to grow spiritually. No jargons, no preaching - it is a simple straightforward book.
