This is a great book. It's simple but thorough, and offers a good, gentle approach to prayer for those who might be intimidated by it or who don't come from an active prayer tradition.

It is a well known fact that prayer is therapeutic - however many of us don't pray on a regular basis because we are either not disciplined, don't completely believe in it or are ashamed. In my case it was a combination of all three. The author shows simple techniques of praying and also suggests simple excercises to grow spiritually. No jargons, no preaching - it is a simple straightforward book.
