Best book of its kind

I am a retired physician and volunteer as a reading tutor at an elementary school. Coming across this cleverly written description of viruses and bacteria while working with a student I was entranced by the excellent, accurate and fun descriptions of these "bugs". I highly recommend it for 7-10 yr olds (or a precocious 5-6 y/o). It is a thin volume but don't let that fool you. It is packed with good information.

A terrific educatinal book for early readers.

An early reader (5-6) will find this a challenging bit of fun to read, outside of the usual "see spot run" fare. Later readers (7+) will find it a good introduction to the biology of the human immune system. As my six yearold who has read the book 50+ times, says, "this book is super-sensational, what-a-creational deadly dangerous stuff"
