KISS fans will have a book that ties directly in with the band's new album due release in September 1998. Features an intricate storyline of all four original band members and an all-new sketchbook by... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book includes issues # 7, 8, 9 and 18 of the awesome comic book Kiss Psycho Circus. Each issue is a one shot story that can be read by anyone- fan of the band or not. (Issue # 9 contains the great origin story!)Brian Holguin really knows how to write compelling tales, and Angel Medina and Kevin Conrad work really well together as far as the art goes. The art in the last issue is by Clayton Crain, the current penciller. Great art + Great Stories = Must have book!
Perfect beginning to the saga...

This book contains issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Kiss Psycho Circus comic book. Three stories are told: 'The Witching of Adam Moon', 'Nature of the Beast', and 'Smoke & Mirrors'. All of the stories are very compelling to read, especially if you are into dark fantasy or horror. Issue # 3 is my favorite in this book. (Although the entrance of the character Kismet in issues # 4-6 is a welcome addition, not to mention Madame Raven's backstory.) You do not need to be a fan of the band in order to fully enjoy this book, but fans of the band will enjoy all of the hidden Kiss references. Brian Holguin is one of the best comic book writers in the business and he works very well with Angel Medina/Kevin Conrad. Their visual storytelling style is excellent. Go visit the circus, you won't regret it.
Enter Nightmare King...

This book covers issues # 10, 11, 12, 13 of the Kiss Psycho Circus comic book otherwise known as the 'Destroyer' arc. Holguin, Medina & Conrad create a taut, fast moving story arc that was actually painful to wait for month after month as the comic books came out. Now you can grab it in this form and read it in its entirety. You do not need to be a fan of the band in order to enjoy this book at all. It is a fantastic horror/dark fantasy story with *excellent* art. Try it out and see how the Four-Who-Are-One deal with the Nightmare King.
That's It !!!

Well, all my life i was a comics fan and a KISS fan. So, naturally i was interested in a comic book with KISS in it. Specially a one made by Todd Mcfarlane productions, in my opinion, Todd is the George Lucas of the comics industry. I was amazed. I read everything in comics, but this book is one of the best, if not the best of all comic books actually made! The story is relly good, and the art is supreme! And you dont need to be a KISS fan to like this book. Its a new concept in comics. Well , its true , its like a vertigo book, but much more dinamic. If you like comics, if you like KISS, if you search for something different to read, read this one. And WELCOME TO THE SHOW!!!
