This book was great. I read it in one sitting and I did not want the story to end. Ms. Goodwin has swritten a story that everyone can enjoy and if you don't feel moved after reading it then somethings wrong. Thank you Ms. Goodwin for bringing joy into my life for one day.
One of the best books I've ever read.

I wanted it to go on. I wanted to know about Grace (Farina's daughter) and I wanted to know more about Minyon and Blue. I wanted it to be a GONE WITH THE WIND epic that told me more about all the characters. I guess that's the true success of a book: the reader wants MORE!
My book group loved it!

I read this book over the summer. It was well written and flowed smoothly. Although the setting of the book is in a brothel, this book and its charaters are very classy. Well worth reading.
