It's the module brought to life.

It may be a little thin on plot but it was a real pleasure to dig out my old Keep on the Borderlands module (first I've seen it in over 15 years!) and follow along with the book. Ru Emerson is extraordinarly faithful to the module and following her characaters through was a trip down memory lane as I thought of friends and the adventures we had over 20 years ago consistently brought a smile to my face.If this wasn't a module you played, you may not enjoy the book as much. If you have fond memories of the "Caves of Chaos" and can recall the excitment of the early adventures with low level characters, you won't be disappointed here.A follow on adventure with the main characters developing into high levels and moving onto grander things may give the plot development some of you will look for while retaining the history of these characters.
