Just in time for Mother's Day and Father's Day, these nostalgic, sweet picture books help parents and kids bridge the generation gap! Each book compares the enduring hallmarks of childhood-playing with toys, going to school, taking family vacations-as experienced by kids today and their parents a generation ago. Just Like Mommy and Just Like Daddy lovingly show that while times have changed, our needs have stayed the same. Sweet, simple text and delightfully retro artwork convey just how much we have in common with our kids. Illustrated by Megan E. Bryant.
It reminds me of my mommy, and I love my mommy. My mommy and me LOVE the pictures. They are smooth and you can feel some of the details. The story is good too. It shows you how things were different back when my mommy was a kid, but we still like the same things like skating, cooking, writing letters, and stuff like that. It is like a first reader book and anyone can read it. My mom and I read it all the time. This review was written byAnnamarie (with assistance of her mommy, Dawn)Mommy's notes: Stacy Peterson is a great illustrator! I love the pictures.
Fabulous!

This is truly one of the cutest children's books to come out in a long time. The writing, the pictures, and the concept of tying Mommy's life to her daughter's life is perfect. Just Like Daddy is great too!
Adorable!

My 5 year old daugther just loves it! She loves the pictures, and the idea that she is "just like mommy". I love it because I can show her that we have lots in common. We read the book every night before she goes to bed. I even got a 2nd copy for my 2nd daugther's book collection (she'll be born in August).
