This book by two authors-Dave Timms and Tim Riter, Takes to task the impact of pluralism and the religions of tolerance and political correctness as it impacts the modern-day Church of Jesus Christ.The authors take a well-rounded biblical look at the impact of these themes in four different attitudes exhibited in today's post-modern church; namely: Attitiudes towards God, Attititudes towards others;Attitudes towards self and lastly, attitudes towards life; which for me personally is the most impactive section of the four.I especially like the way in which each chapter lays out the foundation for dicsussion, works its way through the theme and then works through the pros and cons as well the "payoff's" of a particular idea or action both positive and negative.The two authors adroitly dissect the issues with Biblical insight, practical wisdom and at times, in your face challenge to change ones lifestyle to match that of Jesus's claims upon those who call themselves Christian.No book which I have read in recent years have the challenge presented by these authors. Every Christian-especially Christian leader and minister should both read and apply the teaching herein found.This is a brand new book well worth the small investment inits purchase.
