We love the Jungle Doctor books!! We gather on the couch at night after supper and read a couple chapters a night. I actual picked up a hand puppet of a lion and a gorilla to help make the story more exciting. They will definitely build an interest in Africa, missionary work and a medical interest. My 5 year old decided that he wanted to be a Doctor in Africa now!! Paul White does an excellent job of weaving the gospel message into his story. A must to add to your library collection!!
Hurrah! Jungle Doctor Books are being printed again!

This story of the little blind boy is one of the best stories I have read by Paul White (although I've liked the others too). It brings out the sacrifice this little boy made to tell others of Christ, as well as help them physically in a time when superstitions were predominant in Africa. This story is a tear-jerker. Have your hanky handy.
