Finally I understand!

I love their writing style. By using illustrations that people like me can understand, they explain about stocks and how to read a prospectus and what all those financial terms mean. They even show you step-by-step how to get the information you need from the companies and how to fill out an application. If you're an "I know absolutely nothing and never understood what they're trying to explain" person, this book is just what you need. If you're looking for advanced material you're probably better off getting something more sophisticated. Sure, I doubt any of us could get rich on $10 a week, but at least we don't have to feel left out of the investment game just because we don't have tons of money to invest.

Great Teaching Tool for Stock Buying Basics

This is such a great book on the basics of buying stock that even high school students get it. Thanks to Julie and Debbie, I finally have a book on investing that teenagers understand. And the most amazing part is students are investing!

I purchased the book for my wife on Valentine's eve.

We both loved the book, although she says I hog the book. By following the directions, we called for the prospectus on Liz Claiburn. She loves to shop there. We should start the DRIP next week. It sticks to the basics. It's a great book!

An excellent book for beginners...simply written and easy to understand, the authors tell you everything you need to know about investing in stocks without a broker. It is written in a "cute" sort of style which may appeal more to women than to men. Reading this book will make you feel that getting rich by making long-term investments is very possible. The book can be read in one sitting.
