A Lotta Trucks in this Little Book

Joshua James likes trucks. Big trucks... little trucks... l-o-n-g trucks... short trucks. Joshua James just likes trucks! Red trucks... green trucks... yellow trucks... blue trucks. And so it goes in this little book about a boy and the trucks he loves that is just perfect for your pre-schooler. He'll learn important descriptive words and the wonderful illustrations by Jerry Warshaw (I have the original version) will drive them home. I like all the Rookie Reader books. They are just a great way to get a little pre-schooler started on his or her reading career. And an early start is so important in today's world. Children need every advantage they can get, so if you're a parent or guardian of a precious little one, I highly recommend Rookie Reader books. The dividends they will pay in the long run will be priceless.

My toddler loved this!

I discovered this book in the library with my first child. He was about two years old, and this was his favorite book. I must have read it to him at least ten times a day. He is now six, and has a baby brother who has discovered books too. I decided we needed a copy for him, and ordered. The book has very simple, easy to read words and concepts like "big trucks and small trucks", with lots of colorful pictures. It's an easy first reader. Joshua James Likes trucks- and so do my boys.
