The VERY best!

This is the very best book on the subject and it was written in the late 50's. But that doesn't really matter since the villas and gardens are classical. And here you will find them all! Well, a very good selection since there are an abundance of them. The auther knows and presents the ones others sadly omitt. Photos are solely black and white but still great. The text is as good as you can ever wish for, she know's here topic inside and out. Still the ultimate book on Italian gardens!
