Tasty, Easy Italian -- A Hit at Our House!

ITALIAN CLASSICS IN ONE POT is an older book, and one I had never heard of. After trying several recipes, I recommend ITALIAN CLASSICS IN ONE POT to you. It is easily worth the nominal price you will pay to get a used copy shipped to you. The layout is clean; the recipes are easy to scan and follow. We tried several recipes, and all have been winners. The dishes have been tasty and preparation has been as streamlined as I hoped. Favorites so far: Roast Chicken Casalinga with Peppers and Olives (p. 36; my husband said that this was the most delicious use of peppers he has ever had); Sausages with Mushrooms and Onions (p. 74; delicious, and took only about 45 minutes). ITALIAN CLASSICS IN ONE POT is a nice addition to your kitchen bookshelf -- something to pull out when you want a bit of adventure without spending too much time or needing to find any exotic ingredients.
