Could there be... a mouse in the house ? Yes, there is...but in this humorous picture book, baby knows while Mom and Dad don't! Follow baby's exploits as he has his first funny, yet exhausting, encounter with a larger-than-life mischievous mouse. The mouse teases the baby, grabs his bottle, flings all the toys around, and rides and wrecks his tricycle. All the while, the amusingly oblivious parents think they might hear a squeak...but can't imagine a mouse could be in baby's room without their realizing! The unique illustrations have a fantastically unusual perspective: the world as seen from a baby's-eye view, with all items appearing bigger than normal. The cute cartoon infant and entertainingly expressive mouse are sure to please, and the simple text, with its engaging refrain, is fun to read aloud.
This is a darling book with wonderful illustrations! Very interactive, great for beginning readers. Look forward to much more from Elizabeth Zechel!

I don't own this book yet, but after looking at it at the bookstore I am ordering if for my 2 year old daughter. It is adorable and the pictures are very cute. I think it would be appropriate for the youngest of readers through grade school.
Hilarious

My girlfriend and I spotted this book over the weekend, and I don't know if it was the combination of being away from our spouse's and children for a night that had us giddy already or if it was the book alone, but we were laughing so hard we were in tears at one point. The illustrations are simple but so expressive, from the baby staring at his parent's feet, to the mouse riding the little red trike like Ralph from "mouse and the motorcycle",(our very favorite is the baby trying to scribble a note to his parents on a piece of paper in "baby language"). It is very cute and worth getting for any age (Kindergarteners would probably love the silliness of it). Great book!
