Luke sat at the O'Donnell's Sports Bar in North Scottsdale nursing a Kilt Lifter draft while waiting for Scottsdale detective Kevin O'Malley to join him. He had met Kevin some time back at one of the first client's home invasions of Luke's Security company Secure & Safe. Luke had started the security company many years back after retiring as a Phoenix PD homicide detective. Before retiring he had chased some biker serial killers across five states with the help of FBI agent Rafe Jackson. The recent home invasions pulled Luke back into the investigative world. He had a book and a movie written about the ripper Killer. After some editing the book was published and made the New York Times #1 list. Warner Brothers then purchased the film rights and produced the Thrill Victim movie starring Tom Hardy and Kate Winslet premiered to rave reviews. The book and movie rights made Luke a multi-millionaire. He had already inherited a sizeable trust from his grandfather. But his new life with wife Amanda and son Arnold Christian Fletcher five years old and daughter Anna Maria Fletcher almost three were the most important thing in his life. He would do anything to protect them. He would soon have to prove that many times.
