Into the Fire

Zachary Taylor and Jacqueline Jordan are back, doing their best to stop global climate change. Meanwhile, they must defend themselves against a rogue government agent crazed with a desire for revenge. The world suffers through extreme weather disasters, including fire tornadoes, bomb cyclones, and polar vortexes. Taylor's previous controversial "solution" to stop global warming now seems to be pushing the world into the next ice age! He desperately searches for a new fix as the U.S. and Russia inch closer to nuclear war. Combining science with fictional characters and plenty of action, this book conveys important information about global climate change, within an interesting and compelling story. The catastrophic weather scenarios portrayed in this book are based on real-life events that actually happened in 2018. In that respect, this book contains a lot of factual information about the world's current climate situation. The author is a retired professor of environmental engineering, and writes with knowledge and a teaching skill that makes the subject matter understandable and interesting. But he also writes in a popular style and with a flair that keeps the reader wanting to find out what is going to happen next, especially to Zack and Jacqueline.
