This is my first Patrick Robinson novel and I enjoyed the book very much. It held my attention and I like Mack Bedford. I have just ordered and received Diamondhead. Patrick Robinson has a new fan. Question for other fans: What brand and model of boots do Navy Seals wear ?

This is another book written by Patrick Robinson that features as the hero Lt. Commander Mack Bedford. In this thriller The writ of habeas corpus is being applied by a left leaning judge to the prisoners of Guantanamo Bay. After this issue is taken to a federal court four very dangerous terrorist killers are set free. The Epstein law firm is responsible for representing these four killers. Ibrahim Sharif, Yousaf Mohammed, (al Qaeda) Abu Hassan, and Ben Turabi(Hamas) are released. The United States military or forces of justice can do nothing to the four terrorists. The four criminals decide to return to Afghanistan to plot vengance against the United States. In the meantime the building housing the Epstein law firm is blown off the face of the earth. All three of the lawyers responsible for representing the terrorists are killed. The intelligence agencies know that the four terrorists are planning a strike on the United States. These agencies call upon Seal Lt. Commander Mack Bedford to assassinate the four terrorists. Bedford starts tracking the four bad guys with the help of Mossad. They follow the quartet into Mexico, into New York, and finally locate them in Connetticutt. They have bought a farm named Mountain Side Farm. From this farm they plan to attack a Jewish private school named Canaan Academy on the most holy day Abraham's Day. From here things pick up. It becomes the job of Seal Commander Bedford and his pardners to stop the attack. This is an action packed book. The chase comes to a stunning conclusion in Afghanista. Be sure to read this book.
Slendid Mr. Robinson!

Couldn't put it down. I really enjoy Robinson's Navy SEAL thrillers, both fiction and non-fiction. What I appreciate most about Robinson's style is the education process the reader receives around important national security issues. Intercept's focus on Guantanamo Bay is not far from reality. After all, the US Attorney General and his team in Washington have defended many al-Qaeda criminals. It's been almost 10 years since 9/11 and we must never allow deadly complacency to take hold again. This is a major theme in Intercept, classic Robinson, educational, entertaining and red, white and blue. The dedication and professionalism of our US Navy Seals has always been an inspiration for me personally, and Robinson gives insights that make you feel like you're right in the action - part of the mission, living their strategies, their passion and sometimes fears. Intercept is a great read!
Outstanding, as usual. Another wonderful novel by Patrick Robinson

This is the second Navy SEAL thriller in the Mack Bedford series. It focuses on the very contentious issue of Guantanamo Bay, and makes a strong case there's still seething unrest in the Middle East. The great danger the novel explores is the USA taking it's eye off the ball, and softening its grip on al-Qaeda. The novel, in typical Robinson fashion, is fast-paced, filled with thrilling Navy SEAL action, murder, mayhem and a gripping plot that is frankly impossible to put down. Robinson fans from the Morgan thrillers will undoubtedly love this newer, fresher series, that is more character focused, and deals with cutting-edge dangers in modern warfare. The book deserves to hit the best seller list, and people everywhere should start considering Patrick Robinson in the same league as Clancy, Paterson and Grisham. His books are simply brilliant.
