I am a flight instructor, though I do not work for PIC. I do use this book, and encourage my students to use buy and read it. The straight-forward explanations are effective, and each chapter has a real-life story that illustrates the concept of the chapter. Each chapter also has a "To the CFII" section that is helpful to instrument students, student CFIIs, and active CFIIs alike.
