The Book

This book is the best one I have ever seen about Visual C++ programming. The author is clear and there is useful samples inside the book. Kruglinski teaches modern techniques about Visual C++ and Windows skills and doesn't forget the Win32 programmers in his explanations. I have done good use of my money with this book !!
Written very well, in depth, lots of hands on projects

This book is very understandable, it is written in a very clear form. I liked all of the example code and step-by-step projects included in the text. It was also a very complete book covering all of the newest topics in programming like OLE and ODBC. I think even though the Microsoft press said it was Adv (advanced) it was much more understandable and clear than Learn Visual C++ Now by: Mark Andrews, which was beginner. I would like to compliment the author for writing such a great book, and complaints-- I have none
Very Good Book

This book is a great book for a C++ programmer with basic MFC skills looking to learn a whole lot more. The examples are reasonably short and generally stick to the point without being to fancy. The book is worth the bucks and has alot of material that for the most part is well covered. I did find that as the book moved into OLE that the examples became a bit fancy and that fundamental areas were glossed over. Also a slightly bizzare programming style.
