fun book

This book has some great photos, but I was a little disappointed (probably because I read all the great reviews it got ;-) ). It didn't have as many photos as I thought it would. All the photos are large (one photo per page) so it's not quite the "eye candy" as I thought it would be. Great photos, just left me wanting more...

Truly eye-popping

I saw this book at a book trade show this weekend (early Oct 2008) alongside an equally amazing companion book of photography called "Incredible Earth." I was expecting the usual ho-hum assortment of cute animal photos from here and there. What I saw was a book of really animal (covering all sorts of "animal" life) photos that I had trouble tearing myself away from. Wish it had been for sale at the show. The pictures and their captions are both stimulating for any age, I think, and will get you admiring, thinking, and wondering the animal (our) world in ways you've maybe not done before.
