OK. First of all, you must absolutely without question love the Lawrence Welk show to even pick this book up. If you don't love the show, don't read this. You won't get it. But if you live for Saturdays and Sundays to watch the show on PBS, you will love getting into one of the people from the show. I loved the book. And if you want one of the purest voices around, find one of Tom Netherton's albums. Complete heaven.
