This is a well written true story that has been researched with great care. The characters are not your typical midwest small town cast. As the events unfold, Faulconer does a great job of giving the background of the participants and pertinent relationships. You will be amazed at the details laid out by Faulconer's unique perspective and insight. The events that take place to bring each of the parties to the trial and their prior interactions are quite interesting. Election results, political appointments, power transitions, corporate policies, and untimely deaths all come to play a part in this griping murder story that actually happened in Indianapolis. You won't want to stop reading this fascinating true story!

Tom Faulconer has written a page turning book that isn't "based" on a true story, but IS the true story. His preface details how he has made sure that he included only the facts of the case, but he still kept the thrill of a shocking story. This book is a must read for anyone who has ever lived anywhere near Indianapolis since it contains a plethora of interesting "hometown" facts that make the story that much more personal. A great read!
