Stunning illustrations of animals eyes will draw the readers attention immediately. On the opposite page is the view that eye might be observing. A description of the animal and its habits appare at the bottom of the pages. The type of animal depicted is held secret until the very end. My students used the illustrations and key words in the description to reason out what type of animal it could be. They really enjoyed it! Then we created our own book, but using other parts of the animals, and writing our own descriptions.
