Lovely story...inspired our family to ask "What would Jesus do?"

Our 10 and 5 year old sons were completely engaged in this exciting story, a second adventure incorporating the same characters from What Would Jesus Do?. Their response was the same with the first book: they begged for more. (And, it was a story this mom loved reading as well.) Both books were surprises to me, with some challenging issues addressed: greed, obedience, failure, judgment, loss, unfairness, discouragement, prayer, friendship, forgiveness, salvation, standing firm, being fearless, repentance, loving our enemies, evangelism, friendship, sacrifice, love... all wrapped in language children, and adults, can understand and relate to. I personally was touched and convicted by both stories. There are also questions in the back (listed by chapter) which help in comprehension and in relating the story to our own lives. Girls and boys alike would like these stories as there are characters in both books that they can relate to. What better model than Jesus is there to turn to for each decision or circumstance we face as well as the attitudes and actions we choose? These books point to the Source reminding each of us to ask, "What would Jesus Do?"
