Esther Branson, a broadcast news anchor, questions her role in the stories she reports, and when Jon Shepherd, a local teacher is asked to resign for teaching creation science instead of evolution, both Esther and Jon must decide between standing up for truth or settling for compromise.
I really liked this book because it took a possible real life situation of having to stand up for what's right instead of giving in to pressure from other people who are doing wrong. I loved the way Jon stood firm and didn't give in and even though he lost the case and his job, he still did the right thing. I also loved the way Esther, who wanted to to the right thing as well, and John ended up together at the end. GREAT BOOK.
