A handy reference guide for some of history's greatest tanks up to the early 2000s

This book is part of a series of books covering subjects such as trains, guns, submarines, warships, etc. This one covers tanks, from their earliest iterations in WW1 to the early 2000s when this book was published. It can be a little disorganized though as it lists the tanks by country first, so you start with the As such as Argentina, and then alphabetically by nation with the UK and US at the end. It doesn't include every single type of tank, but it does cover a fair amount from across the globe, some of the most notable tanks in the world including a few obscure rarities such as the German Neubaufahrzeug and the Soviet T-35. It does omit some tanks such as the German StuG III Tank Destroyer and the British A1E1 Independent. The latter is more forgivable as it never saw combat despite the fact the prototype still exists today, but the former is more egregious as it was one of the most heavily produced tank destroyers of WW2.
The book itself is nice and compact and fits on most bookshelves easily along with some of its companion books in the series.
