This superb companion to Illustrated Dental Embryology, Histology, and Anatomy strengthens students' understanding of the principles of dental anatomy, embryology, and histology by actively engaging them in the learning process. Inside, students will finda range of exercises that will expand their knowledge and skills--helping them prepare for future success in the dental health professions. The workbook is organized by chapters that correspond to the chapters in the main textbook for ease of use. A tooth identification section uses unlabeled figures to test students knowledge of dental anatomy, embryology, and histology. Shaded figures of 14 permanent teeth, along with graph paper templates, encourage students to study and draw crowns and roots. Useful guides, a tooth dimensions table, and criteria for evaluating drawings help students when they are drawing teeth, and allows them to judge their own progress.
This work is an excellent textbook or review source for tooth morphology, dental histology and embryology. The text is more geared for the education of hygienists than for dentists. The format is clear, to the point, yet it is quite comprehensive for its length. The sidebar clinical examples for the application of the accompanying topic are excellent and helps see the value of the topics covered. I have elected to use it as a text for a dental morphology course in hygiene school. Robert L Brunker, DDS

I had to re-order this book as another seller took two weeks before letting me know they did not have the book I purchased. So I purchased from this seller and did express shipping with no problems.
