This book does a great job of providing a balanced perspective of the various issues that are involved in illegl immigration. For the most part it is a collection of articles from websites dealing with this subject. Although I was expecting more of a researched study done by a single author the articles given are very informative, and several other good websites are provided for additional information. The articles that were selected are mostly from the years 2004 to 2007, although there are a couple of articles from 2002-2003. In other words, I found the information to being fairly current. There is one article that deals with statistical information that I found very helpful. It provides the results of various polls dealing with several different questions, but reaching one conclussion: most Americans are not in favor of illegal immigration. Nonetheless, the diversity of opinions provided in the articles selected does give a balanced view of the issues involved in this controversy.
