Nimmo's work, here, on the Hebrews and the Druids, comes from a time of near obsession with linguistics, and seeks to compare the rituals, words, and figures, of both systems, regarding them as similar enough to posit a prior common (Antediluvian) origin. While some of the concepts here are no longer in vogue, others (especially in relation to language) have not actually been discredited, so much as mentioning them in an academic context has fallen out of favor along with pious religious interpretations of myth and legend.
