Ever have a book just stick with you for years? This book is one of my all time favorites. When my kids were into picture books, I wanted to read books that I'd enjoy too, and, thanks to author Sarah Marwil Lamstein, this book fit the bill. "I Like Your Buttons" is whimsical in its flow with a well rounded cast of characters (age, gender, color...). It's a sweet story of "what goes around comes around" in the brightest sense. I love this book. It's a wonderful read to share with kids. It can open the door to all kinds of conversations, real life experiments about using kind words, and how that changes everyone's days. What if more people could catch this idea and use it? :D Enjoy! Aunt Laya Author of the teen self help book "You Don't Have to Learn Everything the Hard Way"

Children can learn than a kind word is contagious, spreading goodwill though the school and the neighborhood. Appreciating the gifts of others is an important lesson well told in this delightful book. I know good books since I'm a librarian, but the most important approval of a good story is when my 3 year-old daughter regularly selects as a good night read. This book is her latest favorite.
