A lively and very funny study of what befalls two attractive young women from New York when they suddenly find themselves stranded in the barren vastness of the western desert. Successfully produced... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have two young sons who are 3 & 4 years old. Everynight before bedtime, they get to pick out six books for us to read before they get tucked in, and everynight, this book is one they want to hear! We've gotten into the habit of me pointing at them when it's time and they get to say, "I don't want to take a bath!" And always, at the end of the reading, they tell me that they think it's funny that he doesn't like baths...because they LOVE bathtime! My 4 year old suggests that Little Tiger take a few floaty toys with him to the stream and he'll have even more fun.Wonderful book! I highly recommend it to all children! Not only is it a great message, but it allows the youngsters to become involved in the story.
Good Clean Fun - with two gripes
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
This book, while not as good as Ms Sykes' "I don't want to go to sleep," does deliver a good message. I have two gripes: One gripe is that Little Tiger either lives in a zoo or has access to some sort of molecular transporter as he (Tigers are Asian) plays with Lions (African) and Bears (American) all in the span of one evening. The second gripe is Little Tiger eating berries. Okay so this is a childrens book; I'm trying to keep my perspective. Tigers really don't play in the mud with Elephants and Elephants are not read bedtime stories. But I'm wondering if a few years down the road my kid is going to have to un-learn what is written here. Tigers, no matter how cuddly, are carnivorous. And you won't see Lions, Tigers, and Bears together in the wild ever. For folks seeking behavioral or geographical purity, look elsewhere.
A short, clean bedtime read for preschoolers!

This is my four-year-old boy's current favorite book! Since it is rather short, we read it at least twice a night. My son can understand how Little Tiger feels, because sometimes he too, does not want to take a bath. But in the end, everyone ends up clean and happy!
