There are no other youth cults like Skinhead - it is the ultimate rebellion. Conveyed in the shade and light of reflective poems and ancient photographs. It was a time so far from today to be another planet, but yet recognisable in the traits of those who embraced the authenticity of British youth culture of the nineteen-seventies and eighties. No excuses - it was what it was. No ideology - just lived experience. No punches have been pulled. No white washing and no quarter given. This was my reality in the 1980s - a reality I left behind in the last century.
