Excellent resource for anyone seeking the best in medicine

The Castle Connolly Guide is an invaluable resource for women, men, children, of all ages. It is the book to turn to when seeking medical care in all the specialties. Easy to use, and reader-friendly, the book includes helpful sections of the ABMS Boards, selected resources, managed care organizations and hospital information by county. It is so difficult today to select a physician just from the directory your insurance carrier provides. Your first step should be the Castle Connolly Guide which can help you select a primary care physician as well as any specialist. Or, in the reverse, when someone recommends a doctor, first check on his credentials in the guide to find out if he is board certified, and by what board, where he went to Med School, which residencies were completed and in what program, and where he has hospital affiliations. I was surprised at the low price for all the information the book has to offer.Bravo Castle Connolly for producing the DEFINITIVE guide to doctors in the metro area.
